Working as an integrated team requires teamwork! You're only as strong as
your weakest link - something which we often see in capacity management.
Imagine you have an operation planned, along with all the necessary resources - the operating theatre, surgeons, nurses, anesthetist and the beds. However, you're short on ward nursing staff. Meaning delays, frustrated employees and patients, growing waiting lists and lost finances. Despite multiple resources, you are unable to act due to inadequacies in only one area.

Aeroplanes
An aeroplane is a very expensive means. Every extra minute spent on the ground is a financial drain. To ensure that the aircraft 'turn around' (unloading and loading) is carried out as quickly as possible, several people are required to work simultaneously. Meaning you need to think specifically about managing certain parties….Fuel services, towage, baggage handlers, catering, water and toilet, colleagues to connect the bridge and board passengers, cabin staff, cockpit staff, technical service and of course the cleaners.
Imagine a scenario whereby the cleaning service doesn't show up; they're short staffed due to budget restrictions. The knock on effect results in delays, dissatisfied passengers and crew, not to mention the financial loss.

History
Care2Optimize is an unique predictive algorithm conceived,
developed and implemented by Boris Boomkens. It provides insight into future demand for scarce people and resources in an accessible
manner. Based on existing data, the figures predict where and
when you require both manpower and means, (predictive analysis).
It was after working with KLM that Boris took this already tried and tested concept to NMQ where founders Dilo Kruyswijk and Lorissa Salomons immediately realized the advantages of the unique predictive planning system. It was from there that Care2Optimize was born. Together they are eager to help other companies improve their organization. Care2Optimize feels, especially in view of current circumstances, now is the time to ensure people and resources are deployed in a more efficient way.
